The commodities whose prices are measured, are mainly from establishments belonging to these industries, and the establishments are sampled from Statistics Norway's Register of Establishments and Enterprises. The following industries are not covered: mining of uranium and thorium ores (07.21), processing of nuclear fuel (24.46), manufacture of weapons and ammunition (25.4), building of ships and boats (30.1), manufacturing of aeroplanes and spacecraft (30.3) and manufacture of military fighting machinery (30.4).
