My top priority is the safety of the firefighters and the people that they protect. Compton Community College to provide an accredited program of Firefighter Training. Most of California’s more than 900 fire departments require that their firefighters are, at the very least, certified as EMTs, which entails about 160 hours of training and on-the-job experience. I have been in fire service for approximately 34 years. The Compton Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency.
